Bralex Football Managers Reality Show Debuts

The first reality football show that will put both players and managers in the run for top prizes and other incentives is underway, organisers have announced.
The show which will come alive in Lagos in January, 2014 is being put together by a Lagos based outfit, Bralex Football Mnagers.
Okpe Emmanue Alexander, the Chief Executive Officer of the company, said forms for the show will soon be on sale and they are expecting about 5,000 applicants but after screening, only 32 contestants will eventually find space for the competition.

He disclosed that his company was planning well for the talents that will be picked after the exercise. He announced a cash prize of $100,000 US Dollars and other incentives.
Apart from the top prize, “we already have agreements with English Premier League side, Crystal Palace and Coventry in the Nationwide League to enable the talents discovered at the end of the programme to further their careers either as managers or as players,” Alexander said.
The programme he explained would take three months but the actual reality show will take one month. “From process of sending in applications vetting and screening will take at least a month,” He said, adding, “the managers that would be selected undergo a course on players management before taking on the kids that will be contesting in the reality show.”
He explained that the programme will be open to players of ages between fifteen and seventeen. “The reality show is part of a bigger plan by Bralex Football Manager to contribute to the development of the game in Nigeria.”
