Fajinmi Adebayo New Design Overall Bespoke Sweet Foot Wear

Tell me a bit about yourself…
Fajinmi Adebayo ,principal partner at Overalls Bespoke.

Describe yourself in three words?
Thinker, Designer, Entrepreneur

Describe your style?
It’s more of a matured or Gentleman’s style. I always emphasize the importance of proper fit, Fits more crucial than fashion; a man cannot achieve great fit on his own. He needs a tailor and a shoemaker with sharp eyes and steady hands. The goal is to look well proportioned at all times, I don’t play with proportions. It takes a lot of maturity to put all these together

How far do you think your work has been influenced by your style or would you say your designs are a completely opposite to your style?
Yes and no. Yes in the sense that Overalls Bespoke is perceived as a matured / gentlemanly brand.  No in the sense that I’m not always a gentleman but then who is.

What or who inspires you?

First of all my inspiration comes from God, secondly I have always had a flair for shoes, I got familiar with many  British and Italian shoe brands like Crocket and Jones, Carmina ,John Lobb, Allen Edmonds early, then i realized that most of these shoes couldn’t be accessed locally.

Would you ever dabble in women fashion or is it exclusive to men alone?
Sure we would, in fact we have a female line but there are not so many designs, because our focus is more on the male line for now. So once the time is right we would face the female line squarely.

What’s next for Overalls Bespoke?
We are expanding; soon Overalls Bespoke would be an international brand.
